This weekend is about resurrection. It’s about the profound truth that the darkest valleys are often the exact places where our greatest strength is forged.
I wanted to give you something special this Easter weekend.
Recently, I had the honor of sitting down with Dr. mOe Anderson on her podcast. Dr. mOe is a powerhouse, a speaker, author, and thought leader with a profound understanding of how our inner world shapes our outer reality.
We went deep. We talked about the origins of The SeeLink, the danger of wearing someone else’s armor, and how the dreams you have at night are actually a roadmap for your waking life.
But the most powerful moment of the interview wasn’t something I said. It was a story Dr. mOe shared about her own childhood.
She talked about suffering from terrifying nightmares as a six-year-old girl. She was desperate and afraid. But then, her grandmother taught her a secret: she had the power to stop the monsters. By learning to confront the darkness in her dreams, she became the "shero" of her own mind.
That single lesson empowered her for the rest of her life. It taught her that she had control over her subconscious thoughts.
Here are three key takeaways from our conversation that I want you to carry into this weekend:
1.What comes against you defines the strength inside you. The nightmares Dr. mOe faced didn't break her; they revealed her power. The valleys you walk through are not punishments; they are the exact training ground for the mountain you are called to climb.
2.Character outlasts gifting. In a culture obsessed with speed, hustle, and raw talent, we forget that roots matter more than branches. The cross always comes before the crown. Deep suffering builds the deep character required to sustain true influence.
3.Your design is your only armor. We talked about Harriet Tubman — a woman who used her God-given dreams and spiritual intelligence as a literal roadmap to lead hundreds to freedom. She didn't try to be anyone else. She operated entirely within her unique DNA of Design. If you try to wear someone else's armor, you will never fulfill your specific purpose on this earth.
Where in your life has a deep valley actually been the training ground for your greatest strength?
Take a moment this weekend to reflect on that. The thing that almost broke you is likely the very thing that built you.
